Gastroenterology Locums, Michigan - Inpatient Only

This inpatient Gastroenterology assignment in Michigan offers hospital-based coverage only; no clinic responsibilities and credentialing in 30 days.

Highlights

No clinic; inpatient and ED coverage only
Fast credentialing; typically within 30 days
Long-term assignment with steady blocks
Travel and lodging covered
Bread and butter GI; no advanced procedures

Practice Setting

Hospital-based coverage only

Adults only; no pediatric patients

APP and IR physician support during the week

In-house anesthesia 24 / 7

Call required during assignment blocks

Schedule

Week-long blocks : Monday to following Monday

2 weeks per month; you pick the blocks

Additional 2026 dates also available for early commitment

Cases and Procedures

4-8 consults / rounds per day

Bread and butter GI focus

ERCP and EUS preferred, but not required

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)

Active Michigan license or IMLC

DEA certification and ability to provide case logs

Travel Accommodations

Airfare, lodging, rental car or mileage included

Ideal for physicians in or near Michigan
