Analyst, Business & Strategic Operations

Four Corners Property Trust (FCPT) is seeking an exceptional Analyst, Business & Strategic Operations to join our Operations team. This role is central to supporting the company's strategic operations, collaborating closely with the COO and CFO to drive our operating rhythm, coordinating cross-functional committees, and managing investor relations and earnings logistics. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to learn the business from the inside out while contributing meaningfully to core operational functions across the organization.

PLEASE NOTE : This is a full-time, in-office role based in Mill Valley, California. Only candidates who are local or able to commute regularly will be considered.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

General :

  • Use advanced organizational and communication skills to coordinate with various internal stakeholders (e.g., COO, CFO, department heads, and cross-functional teams) to schedule meetings, track action items, ensure follow-through on initiatives, and escalate decisions as appropriate
  • Leverage AI tools, primarily Microsoft Copilot, to support research, agenda preparation, note-taking, and meeting minutes; review and refine AI-generated output to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with business objectives
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, follow-up lists, and meeting materials; maintain accountability across initiatives by tracking commitments and deadlines
  • Upload and organize documents to various systems, including internal reporting tools, dashboards, and shared drives
  • Field questions from other departments, research answers, and provide information or guidance to support cross-functional collaboration
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and materials for executive leadership as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Operating Rhythm Management :

  • Own and maintain the company's operating cadence, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning cycles, leadership meetings, and cross-functional syncs
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to established timelines and meeting schedules; proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Committee Coordination :

  • Serve as the central coordinator for internal committees, ensuring agendas are clear, meetings are productive, follow-ups are tracked, and decisions are documented and escalated appropriately
  • Maintain continuity and momentum across committee workstreams
  • Investor Relations & Earnings Logistics :

  • Partner with Finance and Investor Relations teams to manage logistics for earnings calls, investor meetings, and related communications
  • Coordinate timelines, materials, and stakeholder alignment to ensure flawless execution of investor-facing activities
  • KPI Tracking & Business Reporting :

  • Maintain a lightweight but reliable KPI dictionary and refresh calendar to support leadership visibility and decision-making
  • Ensure metrics are updated on schedule, aligned with business priorities, and readily accessible for reporting purposes
  • Note : This role will primarily focus on coordination and tracking to start; with analytical work increasing over time.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field required. Recent college graduates interested in building a career in operations or strategy are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates interested in growing with our organization
  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, project management, executive support, or related business functions
  • Organized self-starter with strong attention to detail; high levels of professionalism, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, OneNote) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Planner); open to learning new systems and adapting to evolving technology platforms
  • Comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve the quality of work product
  • Demonstrated project coordination and / or administrative experience
  • Quick learner with a bias toward action and a desire to improve processes and systems
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership
  • Must handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

    Base salary disclosure : $80,000 - $110,000

    In addition to base salary, total compensation includes participation in the FCPT employee bonus program and stock plan.
