Requirements

Licensure / Certifications :

Registered Technologist (RT) – ARRT

MRI certification : ARRT (MRI) OR CAMRT OR ARMRIT

BLS (AHA)

Education :

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (advanced training beyond high school)

Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years MRI experience

Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety

Competent in IV starts and venipuncture (if required)

Ability to work independently

Intermediate computer skills

Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Experience with General MRI, high-end studies, breast, prostate, and cardiac MRI

MRI Rooms : 2

Beds : 16

Equipment : Siemens 3T & 1.5T

Charting : Epic

Floating : None

First-time Traveler : Considered upon review

Scheduling & Orientation

Orientation : One shift on unit to learn workflow

Weekend Rotation : Varies

Call Requirements : Varies

Holiday Expectations : Varies

Time Off : Up to 7 days can be approved

Additional Info

Scrubs : Any solid color; no camo, denim, or logos

Parking : Free on-site

Patient Types : Standard MRI population
