Job description

Job Title : Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location : Fredericksburg, VA

Shift : Days

Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours / week

Local Pay : $38 / hour

Total Weekly Pay : $1,490 / week

Non-taxable : $950 / week
Taxable : $540 / week

Roles and Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement customised treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities as part of their rehab process.

Observe and report on patient progress, reactions, or concerns during treatment sessions.

Instruct patients and caregivers on proper techniques for home exercises and continued care.

Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Document all care provided and patient responses in a timely and accurate manner.

Support the rehab team by contributing to interdisciplinary care planning and patient evaluations.

Comply with all state, federal, and facility guidelines regarding patient care and safety.
