Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Location : Torrance, CA - 100% Onsite

Type : Temp-to-Hire

Reports To : AP Manager

Compensation : $31-$35 an hour. Final rate based on experience.

We're partnering with a dynamic organization in Torrance seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join their team.

What You'll Do

• Manage Payables End-to-End : Own the full AP cycle from invoice intake to payment execution.
• Ensure Timely Payments : Process checks, ACH, and wire transfers accurately and on schedule.
• Vendor Relations : Serve as the point of contact for vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain Accurate Records : Perform reconciliations and keep documentation audit-ready.
• Support Month-End Close : Assist with accruals and provide required reporting.
• Drive Compliance : Apply correct coding and adhere to internal policies and funding guidelines.
