Florida ER Nurse Job Details

Location : Panama City, FL 32405 – Enjoy the best of Gulf Coast living with access to stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and outdoor recreation.

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 23 / 2025 – End : 1 / 22 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1470 - $1570

Unit : Emergency Department (44 rooms, 7-bed Pediatric Modular, 25 hallway locations)

Patient Ratio : 4 : 1

Electronic Medical Record : Meditech EMR

Dress Code : Navy scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state

Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred : TNCC, NRP, ENCP, CEN certifications

Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center or Free Standing Emergency Department is a plus

Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Perform emergency nursing procedures and respond effectively to emergent situations

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs, ED techs, and physicians

Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR

Promote a positive team culture and participate in shared leadership initiatives

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
