Industrial Inspection & Analysis (IIA) is seeking experienced NDT Level 3 Technicians to join our lab in St. Louis, MO . The ideal candidate will have Level III certification in one or more of the following methods :
- CWI-Certified Welding Inspector
- RT-Radiography
- MT-Magnetic Particle
- PT-Penetrant
- UT / UTT-Ultrasonic Flaw Detection and Thickness Testing
Preference will be given to candidates with ASNT Level 3 in RT and / or VT.
Position Overview
The level 3 will work in conjunction with other level 3's on tasks that will include training, testing and procedure writing. The level 3 may be required to perform hands-on nondestructive testing at customer sites and / or IIA business locations in support of IIA projects.
This is a full-time position that will support a minimum of 40 hours per week . If NDT work is not available, the technician will support other areas of the lab to ensure 40 hours of work per week. Other benefits we offer include :

Train NDT technicians in various NDT methodsTrack technician hours and training for certificationTest and certify assistants and Level 1, 2 and 3 candidates who meet the qualification criteriaWrite and / or approve NDT procedures and techniques, both general and client specificSupport Quality Department in audits and audit preparation.Perform hands on NDT / NDE work interfacing with the customer and directing / training Technician Assistants / Apprentices based on the specific work scope.Ensure work and used materials are compliant with manufacturer and customer specifications.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements.Complete applicable job reports and other paperwork as required / instructed on or before the required date as communicated by the applicable IIA representative.Required Qualifications
ASNT Level 3 certificationUnderstand basic physical NDT principles, processes, and limitations.Provide verifiable evidence of previous certification, or completion of ASNT recommended training program for applicable method or successfully complete the training program and applicable exams.Understand mechanical concepts and spatial relationships.Knowledge of basic math.Able to read, comprehend, and prepare technical specifications and procedures.Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow employees.Ability to use basic software and Outlook to generate service reports and communicate within the company, including skills to navigate web-based service literature and programs.Must have and maintain a current valid driver's license.Take and pass all pre-employment screening, including background and initial and future random drug screening.Meet or exceed quality program requirements for work experience on the applicable method and total work experience for the NDT method and level.About Us
