Travel CT Tech - $2,691 per week in Roanoke, VA

The shift hours are 4x10s, Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 7 PM. Siemens experience is required. Epic experience is required. There is an on-call requirement of one shift per week. On-call shifts start at 5 PM and last for seven hours. All requests for time off must be included with the submission. The facility is permitted to call off one shift every two weeks. Staff must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with employees. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. A Virginia state license is required. Any active state license in hand is accepted. Virginia grants emergency authorization to travelers with a license while waiting for their permanent license to process. Required certifications include BLS and ARRT(R). ARRT(CT) is preferred. The position requires skills in preparation and / or administration of contrast media and radiation safety. The traveler may be required to float to another location roughly half a mile away. The facility is an acute care teaching hospital with over 700 licensed beds. It features a Level I Trauma Center and is recognized as a certified stroke center. All compliance documents are due prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates who reside within 100 miles are considered local and will not be accepted. Previous employees must be gone for at least one year before returning to work in a travel capacity. The facility does not allow travelers to return after working on assignment for 365 days. Travelers who completed assignments prior to June 1 take a six-month break before reapplying.
