Civil Underground Utility Foreman (White Marsh Station)

Location : White Marsh, MD

Salary : $80-120k DOE

Position Overview

The Civil Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, site management expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of heavy civil construction processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with various teams on-site.
• Manage the scheduling and allocation of resources, including labor and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and promote a safety-first culture on the job site.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation, safety practices, and construction techniques.
• Implement and oversee the use of shoring systems, including timber shoring, slide rail, and quick shoring systems.
• Utilize concrete vibrators to ensure proper concrete placement and compaction.
• Shoot grades and assist with layout and site measurements to guarantee precision in construction.
• Respond to and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site.
