Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a thriving physician-led health system in Southwest Georgia in recruiting a full-time Anesthesiologist / Critical Care Physician to join a collaborative team at a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital. This unique position offers a 26-weeks-on / 26-weeks-off schedule, critical care engagement, and the chance to work in a technologically advanced, supportive medical environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join a strong team of Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs
• 26 weeks on / 26 weeks off schedule (typically 7 on / 7 off)
• 2 anesthesiologists scheduled per shift; opportunity to supervise CRNAs and AAs
• Bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases (nerve blocks, epidurals, A-lines, etc.)
• No cardiac or neurosurgery cases
• 7 OR suites, 2 endoscopy suites
• OB services ( 750 deliveries / year); 700 total cases / month ( 200 endoscopies)
• Critical Care Call : Required during scheduled week; includes ICU consults and backup for anesthesia
• ICU : 10-bed open unit; consult-only model; collaborate with Pulmonology and Critical Care physician on daily rounds
• Hospital features : 24 / 7 physician lounge with meals, all-access employee fitness center, and Medical Education Center with simulation and conference space
• Advanced technology : 4 Da Vinci 5 Surgical Robots, Mako Robot, Glidescope, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and new Mindray anesthesia machines with ultrasound
