Registered Respiratory Therapist - Adult Care

Prisma Health is seeking an Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team focused on Adult Respiratory Care. In this role, you will perform essential duties to treat patients in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies within acute and critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform general and critical care respiratory therapy procedures as per physician orders and guidelines.
• Obtain, analyze, and report blood gas results accurately.
• Initiate and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation for patients.
• Manage various airways and associated equipment effectively.
• Document and charge for respiratory care procedures completely and accurately while providing patient education.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, providing thorough reports and recommendations.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, ensuring proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment.
• Safeguard resources, including supplies and time.
