BJC Medical Group is seeking a BC / BE Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for Parkland Health Center, located just one hour from St. Louis, MO. BJC Medical Group is a physician-led organization and part of BJC HealthCare, one of the top health care organizations in the country.

Practice Details :

• Join an established team of 4 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners
• Large referral base from well-connected Primary Care Providers on campus
• Beautiful Clinic space attached to the hospital for easy access
• Pediatricians share clinic space and available for deliveries when needed
• Procedure rooms for ultrasound, colposcopy and urodynamics
• Great specialty support from specialists at St. Louis Children’s Hospital
• Shared call schedule (with additional physician) would be 1 : 5

Hospital Affiliation :

Parkland Health Center includes a full-service acute-care hospital in Farmington, and a three-bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre serving residents of St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri. The Parkland-Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including a wound care clinic and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
