About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Decision Support. The successful candidate will be a mission-inspired and collaborative leader, responsible for elevating the institutional research and decision support functions. This senior executive will lead the effective use of administrative data for reporting, analysis, and decision support, and will provide strategic leadership and management of a team of full-time and part-time staff. Key responsibilities include leading institutional research studies, managing the enterprise data warehouse, and ensuring the accuracy and appropriate use of enterprise data. The role also involves overseeing data governance, promoting a fully functional data warehouse, and managing processes to support student success and institutional effectiveness.

Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' senior-level experience in institutional research and / or decision support in higher education, with a strong preference for those holding an earned graduate degree and advanced expertise in large-scale multi-source databases. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully bringing data close to practice and its impact on student success. Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills are essential, as is the ability to form collaborative relationships and manage multiple projects. The role requires knowledge of data confidentiality and security regulations and experience in using advanced statistical and visual analytics software. The Associate Vice President will also be expected to ensure the timely delivery of mandatory and voluntary reporting and to participate in professional organizations to stay at the forefront of data and analytics practices.
