Assistant Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Salem, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards
- Leading, motivating, and training team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Managing staff scheduling and ensuring appropriate coverage during all shifts
- Handling cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accurately
- Overseeing inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular counts
- Resolving customer complaints and addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Assisting in meeting sales goals and implementing promotional activities
- Stepping in for the store manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed
Qualifications include :
Proven experience in retail or service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team membersExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiencesProficiency in cash handling, financial management, and inventory controlDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feetProficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferredKnowledge of retail operations, customer service best practices, and sales techniquesAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
