M&J Engineering is seeking an Office Engineer to support construction administration on public-sector infrastructure projects including CTDOT highways and bridges facilities and buildings and / or railroad projects. This role is responsible for managing project documentation supporting contract administration and payment verification and coordinating with the construction team inspectors contractors and client agencies using established digital document control systems.

Responsibilities

Documentation & Contract Administration

• Review and reconcile daily inspection reports field computations and supporting documentation.
• Receive log process and archive project records including submittals RFIs correspondence shop drawings construction orders and estimates in accordance with project procedures.
• Maintain project files and correspondence using agency-approved systems (e.g. AASHTOWare COMPASS ProjectWise SharePoint).
• Track contractor compliance documentation including insurance subcontractor approvals labor / wage reports and safety certifications.
• Log and monitor material certifications testing requirements and acceptance documentation.
