Software Engineer Intern

Position Description

We are seeking a motivated Software / Computer Engineering Intern to join our team in the Middletown, RI office. The intern will assist in the design, development, and testing of software and hardware solutions for PC-based Open-architecture Reconfigurable Training System (PORTS) program. This position offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, working on innovative projects that support real-world applications. In this role, you will :

Assist in software development, debugging, and testing for engineering projects.

Support hardware integration and troubleshooting activities.

Collaborate with engineers to document designs, processes, and test results.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions.

Perform research and analysis to support ongoing projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer or software engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, Java).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
