Texas - Audiologist – (54532)

Location : Texas

Audiology near Austin, TX

  • Join a team of 1 ENT, 2 NPs and 1 AuD
  • Outpatient-Only
  • See patients of all ages : infancy to geriatric
  • No Call
  • Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Administrative Time : 4 hrs / week
  • Avg 5-10 patients / day
  • Office is conveniently located on the campus of the Medical Center
  • Epic EMR

Education / Skills / Experience :

  • AuD or master’s degree Required
  • Board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Audiology or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
  • Active Texas License or ability to attain is required

    • Duties Include :

  • Hearing aid dispensing with cutting-edge technology and fitting / follow up care.
  • In house repair and / or cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Counseling patients / family members and coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Vestibular assessments (ABR’s, VNG’s, etc.)
  • Knowledge of assistive listening devices, musician, Hunter, and swim plugs
  • Interpret test results / dictate reports for EMR
