Job description

The Anniston, AL VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is actively seeking Primary Care Physicians to join our mission-driven healthcare team!

Position Overview :

  • Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Patient Load : 12–13 patients per day per physician, allowing time for quality, patient-centered care
  • Team Model : Work as part of a Patient-Aligned Care Team ( PACT )

Each physician is supported by a dedicated RN, LPN and MSA and has expanded support from clinical pharmacy, social work, mental health, and nutrition.

  • Employment Type : Federal – with full VA benefits
  • Paid Time Off :  50 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 days paid absence for CME)
  • Retirement :  Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) AND federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

  • Qualifications :

  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
