Are you an experienced engineer ready to lead high-impact work within one of the nations most mission-critical nuclear environments? COMPA Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer (Design Authority Engineer) to provide technical leadership, solve complex engineering challenges, and support Savannah River Site (SRS) CD-3 and CD-2 / 3 scopes.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned engineering professional who excels in advanced technical judgment, multidisciplinary coordination, and DOE nuclear facility environments.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute technical programs involving complex or controversial engineering issues.
• Provide detailed technical review / input for CD-3A D&R, CD-3C Concrete Removal, Coatings Removal, Temp HVAC, and CD-2 / 3 deliverables.
• Prepare requirements documents, inspection / test plans, and engineering packages.
• Lead proposal reviews, building walkdowns (including 226-F), and technical assessments.
• Serve as Primary or Backup Design Authority for mechanical / electrical systems.
• Ensure engineering compliance with DOE and site requirements, QA, CM, work control, and radiological practices.
• Communicate technical results clearly to management, peers, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-discipline coordination.

💲 Salary Range : $90 $96 per hour
