Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Supporting surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room meticulously
  • Maintaining sterile fields and rigorously adhering to infection control measures
  • Passing instruments and essential supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants efficiently
  • Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures with the utmost care
  • Monitoring inventory to ensure readiness for each operation
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for optimal surgical care
  • Keeping accurate counts and detailed documentation of surgical items
Education Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Certifications Needed:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
