JOB DUTIES Conducts therapy, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing clients. Develops individual service plans based upon assessment data, and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary, including the provision of ongoing medication management services. Provides consultation and health education to agency staff, caregivers, and clients as it is relevant to the treatment and medication needs of agency consumers. Provides special assessments of consumers awaiting discharge from state facilities, participates in discharge planning with other agency and facility staff, and assists in the diversion of persons from the state facility placements through agency residential programs. Maintains documentation of services, including service plans, progress notes, and medication informed consent, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and other required information in compliance with the agency and third-party compliance standards. Completes other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor that are consistent with the responsibilities of the position.

The office is open Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Options exist for contractual and both full-time and part-time. Two office locations to choose from, both within 30 minutes of Baltimore. Salary will be based on experience and the number of hours worked. Benefits will be offered to full-time candidates.
Requirements - Education, Competencies, and Credentials : Must have a current CRNP or ARNP in Maryland, with a specialization in Psychiatry, at least 2 years’ experience. Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Nursing for Nurse Practitioner from an accredited educational institution. Previous experience working with patients with mental health disorders and / or addictions preferred. Active DEA Number / Buprenorphine waiver number. Maintains current CPR certification. Experience providing outpatient services to an adult and / or child population with mental illness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency; Microsoft Office a plus.
