Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

Job Description This role is focused on providing services and resources to individuals / families, promoting rehabilitation, recovery, and resiliency. We are looking for a professional who can identify and address the strengths of individuals or families in need, as well as the barriers that could impede their development of skills needed for independent functioning in the community. The ideal candidate will be able to support individuals and families in crisis situations, provide personalized interventions, and develop, facilitate, or enhance an individual's ability to make informed and independent decisions. This role involves working with patients across various age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. The patient care assignment may include children who are at risk of / or experiencing serious emotional, neurobiological, and / or behavioral disorders; adults with severe mental illness (SMI), individuals with chronic substance abuse, and / or individuals with co-occurring disorders. The selected candidate will ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
