Must-Have : - General OR and Trauma experience required. - Level I trauma experience required. - Bariatric case experience including laparoscopic assisted cases. - General surgery case experience including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair. - Client case skills / experience including cervical fusion and craniotomy. - Orthopedic case skills / experience including arthroscopy and closed reduction of fractures. - Plastic surgery case skills / experience related to free flap microvascular. - Transplant skills / experience including organ donation. - Urology case skills / experience including nephrectomy and prostatectomy. - Trauma case skills / experience including amputations. - Emergency management skills / experience including code response and fire safety. - Experience with necessary equipment and instrumentation. Description : This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse focused on surgical procedures. The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a fast-paced environment. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts, primarily on weekends. Every third weekend, there may be overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Clinicians will float within their skill set to meet facility needs, though this is rare. Candidates are required to have a minimum of three years' experience in the operating room. The role involves working with all service lines except cardiovascular. Candidates must have substantial surgical experience in various specialties. Participation in on-call shifts is required, generally estimated at once per week. All requested time off must be reviewed and approved by the manager. Only candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility will be considered for this position. It is mandatory to have active licensure before applying for these roles.
