Job description

Join Coder as our Enterprise Account Executive and play a vital role in expanding our diverse customer base. You will be instrumental in introducing Coder's Environment-as-a-Service platform to some of the largest corporations focused on executing AI-driven software development at scale. This position is all about establishing trusted relationships, structuring impactful deals, and ensuring that our enterprise customers recognize the immense value we deliver.

In this role, you will oversee the complete sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing contracts. You will collaborate closely with engineers, buyers, and internal partners to eliminate friction and advance complex deals.

What You'll Do Here :

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise accounts with significant engineering organizations.
  • Generate qualified leads through targeted outbound efforts and inbound interest.
  • Lead engaging product demos that highlight Coder's differentiators and articulate our value proposition with clarity.
  • Work alongside Sales Engineers to conduct comprehensive technical evaluations.
  • Engage with decision-makers and technical stakeholders throughout the sales journey.
  • Occasionally travel to foster deals and strengthen customer relationships.

What We're Looking For :

  • 5+ years of experience in software / SaaS sales with a solid background in prospecting.
  • 3+ years of experience selling to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience engaging with software engineering leaders and technical decision-makers.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI / CD, platform engineering, and developer tools.
  • Familiarity with GenAI & Agentic development tools (such as Cursor, Claude, Winsurf, Goose, Copilot, etc.).
  • Comfort in executing outbound strategies and working with Sales Engineers.
  • A proven track record of surpassing quota and pipeline targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including in presentations.
  • Experience with various sales cycles (startups, mid-sized companies, enterprise).
  • Creative, analytical, and highly self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Bonus Skills If You Have :

  • A technical background or significant experience with open-source software.
  • A keen interest in emerging AI workflows, developer tools, and technology trends.

Developers can adapt to AI at their own pace, utilizing their preferred tools, while platform and security teams maintain effective governance, auditing, and management at scale.

    Interview Process

    We believe in a transparent, consistent, and enjoyable interview process. We respect your time and aim to complete the interview stages within two to four weeks, schedules permitting. Throughout the interviews, you will meet a diverse group, including individual contributors, managers, and leadership, to get a comprehensive understanding of our team and culture.
