Azure Solution Architect (Pre-Sales)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect specializing in Pre-Sales. This role requires a profound understanding of Azure and hands-on experience with cloud technologies. Additionally, familiarity with AWS and / or GCP is necessary to align with our multi-cloud offerings.

The Azure Solution Architect will closely collaborate with our sales, solutions, and delivery teams to design innovative Cloud Platform, Managed Services, and Professional Services components tailored to meet our customers' needs. You will lead the design of end-to-end solutions, addressing aspects such as platform architecture, managed services, security, and data / AI solutions.

This position involves working remotely in India, while engaging with the global Rackspace team to facilitate solutions for customers within the EMEA region.

Responsibilities :

• Build strong professional relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for technical and business strategies.
• Mentor and guide new team members, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Lead pre-sales projects, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and teams across the organization.
• Conduct customer workshops to impart knowledge on specific technologies.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide strategic advice on technical and transformation initiatives.
• Utilize various solutioning tools to write project proposals and respond to RFI / RFPs.
• Assess project efforts using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Identify key decision makers and recognize buying signals in the sales process.
• Uncover customer challenges through a deep understanding of their business needs.
• Deliver high-quality outputs that impact client satisfaction and team performance.
• Utilize creative problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.
