About The Position

Shift Type : Nights; 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Responsibilities :

(50%)

Provides nursing care using the Nursing Process by : Completing nursing assessment of patient and documenting appropriately in the patient chart. Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of the patient. Implements plan of care and documents in the chart.

(30%)

Evaluates patient’s response to care and updates plan of care.

(20%)

Oversees the delegation of specifics of the patient plan of care to unit staff.

Job Requirements

Submission Requirements

• 2+ years of experience -  Required
• Med / Surg Observation Experience -  Required
• BLS (AHA)  - Requried
• Recent traveler experience -  highly preferred
• ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION  (Facility will  NOT  approve scheduling requests at / after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)

Profile Requirements :

• Work History
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• Candidates' Permanent Address  (Facility will consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction, for ONLY 1- 13 week contract)

Certification Requirements

• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

• Michigan

Additional License Requirements

• Must be active!
