Job title : Autodesk Vault PDM Admin.
Location : Manitowoc, WI (Onsite)
Key responsibilities
- System Administration : Install, configure, and maintain the Autodesk Vault PDM system, including database administration and ensuring data integrity.
- User Management : Set up user accounts, manage access permissions, and control user groups.
- Data Management : Implement and manage data standards, revision schemes, and numbering conventions.
- Workflow Optimization : Design, implement, and refine workflows to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and reduce bottlenecks.
- Technical Support : Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and train users on best practices for using the system.
- Collaboration : Work with IT, engineering, and other departments to meet their CAD and data management needs and ensure system alignment with business processes.
- Data Security and Backup : Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data security.
Required skills and qualifications
A degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 6 years of experienceProven experience with Autodesk Vault and other CAD software like AutoCAD or Inventor.Strong understanding of PDM principles, data integrity, and version control.Familiarity with database management and file management systems.Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
