Compensation : $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and manage various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Must have experience working on federal projects and be willing to travel
About the Role :
This project manger will be responsible for managing full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and scope definition to planning, execution, and closure. This role will guide cross-functional teams, oversee budgets and timelines, apply change management and continuous improvement (Kaizen / Six Sigma), and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate can analyze risks, resolve issues, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery an understanding of commercial construction
What You'll Do :
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Lead requirements gathering and define project scope and objectives.
- Create project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets using tools like MS Project or Trello.
- Apply change management strategies to support smooth transitions.
- Use earned value management to track performance and control costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams and promote continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage conflicts as issues arise.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout project execution.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communicate status, risks, and issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee project-related contracts.
Requirements :
Construction experience is a mustExperience on federal projectsWilling to travelExperience in project management with strong knowledge of PMBOK principles.Proven team leadership and experience supervising diverse teams.Skilled in project tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis.Familiarity with IT infrastructure; IT project management experience preferred.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.Strong negotiation skills with a focus on positive stakeholder outcomes.Experience in process mapping and business process modeling.Effective presenter able to clearly communicate complex information.Benefits :
