About The Position

Coordinates nursing care for patients with behavioral health issues. Participates in patient and family teaching. Administrates medications and treatment. Uses EMR, Meditech. 2 years experience in behavioral health nursing. BLS, NCI or other crisis prevention training. Charge Nurse Assignment 8 hour rotating shifts, must be available to work weekends and holidays. There is no floating to other departments. 12 beds. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit : team model Dress Code : clean and professional attire Orientation Program : assigned to a mentor for orientation.
