We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembly / Warehouse Technician to join the PreCise MRM team . This role involves assembling, disassembling, repairing, provisioning, testing, and managing inventory for PreCise MRM parts and product lines. To perform this role effectively, the technician must possess a fundamental knowledge of products and parts, a working understanding of production procedures, familiarity with product mechanics, and proficiency in using shipping equipment, hand / power tools, and machinery. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, focused, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a collaborative team environment.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Assemble systems according to work instructions, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Ensure assembled systems meet established quality, efficiency, and customer specification standards.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot AVL / GPS hardware and related components.
- Perform functional tests on completed products and systems.
- Assist team members with product assembly and process improvements.
- Provide support for products as needed.
- Identify and implement technical or process improvements to help achieve site goals.
- Communicate effectively regarding expedited orders, component quality issues, and inventory records.
- Manage the warehouse and shipping processes, including pulling inventory, assembling, packaging, labeling, and coordinating shipments.
- Perform periodic cycle counts of parts and equipment to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with engineers and technical teams to enhance assembly efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.1-2 years of relevant work experience in assembly, warehousing, or related fields preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and previous hands-on experience with hand and power tools.Detail-oriented mindset to ensure the highest level of quality.Experience with technical customer support or mechanical background preferred.Knowledge or experience in AVL / GPS systems preferred.
