Requirements :

IL License

1 Year of experience

Must have Post-op care of patients, critical thinking skills

AHA BLS

Other Details :

# Beds : 63 (49 private, 9 observation beds).

Nurse : Patient Ratios : 4-5 / RN days 5-6 / RN nights.

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Post op surgical , trauma, overflow medical, dressing changes, wound care, IV therapy,

pain management, drains, NGs, central lines, TPN

Are RNs required to titrate drips? : No

Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Heparin only

Travelers are the 1st to float. Will float to unit with same level of experience. If an ICU RN floats to general

unit, they take a team of 3 patients

Scrub Color / Dress Code / Scrubs provided? : Any color.
