Field Service Representative (JLTV)

Location : Hanahan, South Carolina Company : STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is hiring JLTV Deprocessing Field Service Representatives to support military operations in Hanahan, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) platform, ensuring mission readiness through detailed inspection, system testing, and troubleshooting. If you have deep experience with tactical vehicles and a passion for supporting U.S. defense initiatives, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities : Perform deprocessing of JLTVs, including component installation, system checks, and functional testing Conduct technical inspections and quality assurance tasks following OEM and government standards Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Support vehicle acceptance and documentation processes, coordinating with OEM and military personnel Act as on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for JLTV systems and deprocessing procedures Provide technical feedback to improve deprocessing protocols and field support Maintain accurate, daily records of activities, deficiencies, and readiness Support Total Package Fielding (TPF) and basic operator training as needed Follow all safety protocols and operate effectively in austere environments Required Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of experience working on military or heavy-wheeled vehicles Prior JLTV experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical, electrical (CAN BUS), hydraulic, suspension, and powertrain knowledge Military experience as a 91H or 91B strongly preferred Experience with JLTV deprocessing, fielding, or depot-level maintenance is a plus Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Familiarity with JLTV-specific tools and support equipment Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint) Excellent communication and reporting abilities Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments Why STS Technical Services?
