We focus on treating individuals involved in accidents, work-related injuries, and those with health insurance. We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Operations to join our leadership team and help drive the next phase of our growth.
Position Summary :
The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the practice across multiple locations. This key leadership role requires a hands-on executive with deep experience in medical practice management, including a strong background in auto accident, workers' compensation, and commercial insurance workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and optimize all clinical and administrative operations.
- Drive performance and efficiency across scheduling, billing, patient flow, and front / back office processes.
- Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, coding standards, and payer requirements.
- Streamline operations and protocols for motor vehicle accident (MVA), workers compensation, and out-of-network commercial insurance cases.
- Work directly with physicians, department heads, and staff to support quality patient care and operational excellence.
- Manage hiring, training, and performance of staff across departments.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies based on data analysis.
- Lead expansion efforts and integration of new sites and service lines.
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a medical practice setting (orthopedic, spine, or pain management preferred).
- 5 + years of experience handling MVA, Workers Comp, and commercial insurance processes.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to drive accountability.
- Proficiency in medical billing, EHR systems, and healthcare compliance.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
