Purpose / Mission
Amazing Athletes is a youth sports enrichment program that focuses on teaching kids ages 18 months to 12 years old the basics of 10 different sports and activities (Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Track and Field, Volleyball, and many more) with an introduction to nutrition, muscle identification, and development of key motors skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Following the established Amazing Athletes curriculum, the primary responsibility for this position is to assist head coaches in teaching the basics of different sports, activities, nutritional information, muscle identification, and basic motor development skills to kids ages 18 months to 12 years
- Coach will travel throughout the Greater Charlotte area to different daycares, preschools, and public / private elementary schools to teach classes
- Tracking attendance, keeping records of child progress, and maintaining positive relationships with center staff, directors, parents, and other Amazing Athletes staff are other important areas of responsibility
- Ensure the safety of all participants while in the care of Amazing Athletes
- Assistant coaches will give support to head coaches and occasionally fill in as the head coach when needed.
Working Conditions
Candidates must be able to stand, bend down, and move for extended periods of time, often outdoors. Must be able to pull / carry up to 40 lbs.

Schedule details :
Team members will work various hours between 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday as neededSchedule and work location may vary from week to week. Schedule given with notice.Work Locations :

Required Qualifications / Experience
Must be 18 years of age to applyHigh School DiplomaAble to pass both NCDHHS Background and SCSLED ChecksThose who have their NCDHHS background already cleared and approved will be considered first1-2 years of childcare experienceBackground in or knowledge of sportsHave reliable transportation for travel to and from locations (mileage reimbursementApplicants will need to have access to a mobile smart device in order to access class rosters and schedulesBenefits
