UVA Community Health is seeking to employ an  PRN   Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA   to join our rapidly growing  provider team at  Prince William Medical Center.  UVA Community Health is  welcoming a new era in healthcare where achieving good health is just the beginning.  We believe in caring for the whole person – by getting to know them, having conversations and making personal connections.  Culpeper Medical Center proudly serves the growing and diverse northern Virginia community through an  integrated network of inpatient and outpatient services and programs.  Our campus  is home to our 70-bed, community hospital, Family Birth Center and 24 / 7 emergency department.

Responsibilities include :

• Visiting bedside and answering questions
• Ordering tests, medications and treatments
• Communicating with patients, their families  and their primary care physician on condition and care
• Consulting with additional specialists, as needed
• Providing discharge instructions about further care, medication and follow-up
• Sending a hospital care summary to your primary care physician
