Cardiology - Interventional Physician

If you love the BBQ, enjoy music / art, and appreciate the military-look no further and come care for veterans as a Physician in Interventional Cardiology. The position is an appointment based at the Kansas City VA Medical Center and surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC's) within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. A summary of the broad distribution of time / effort is as follows :

• VA Cath Lab and inpatient interventional consults.
• Supervision of general and Interventional Cardiology fellow on the VA IC cardiology rotation.
• VA interventional clinic patients with fellows / APP, as needed.
• Expectation of adequate number of Caths per year and PCIs per year.
• Read TEE / TTE, ECG, and Holter / Event monitor as assigned.
• Opportunity for research, education and service.
• Cover the cardiology inpatient service and general cardiology consults, a duty shared with other faculty members.
• Other duties as assigned
