Job Title : Sr. Manager of Procurement and Vendor Management

Location : Hybrid in Richardson, TX, Salt Lake City, UT or Herndon, VA preferred

Role : Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, responsible for leading centralized sourcing and procurement efforts across the organization. This role is responsible for operationalizing a comprehensive governance and oversight model for all third-party relationships. Partners with functional leaders to optimize value realization through vendor relationships, implementing best practices, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring compliance through effective contract negotiations. Additionally, identifying roles, responsibility, and accountability for business stakeholders and their third parties from initial engagement through termination, while continually optimizing processes, systems, and controls used in monitoring and managing risk.

Working with each functional leader to ensure centralized sourcing and procurement efforts including initial needs identification to final goods or service delivery. Managing the entire end-to-end process, i.e., demand management via stakeholder management, supply analysis / strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution (i.e., RFP), contract negotiation, delivery planning and monitoring, purchase execution and payment, and ongoing performance management and improvement. Establishes and oversees a comprehensive vendor governance model, ensuring transparency, accountability, and risk management from initial engagement through termination

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Management of organizational procurement strategy, best-practice based processes and short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives
  • Build and foster strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability occur between business stakeholder and third-party providers.
  • Identification and realization of cost-saving / cost-reduction and cost-avoidance opportunities
  • Optimize established procurement workflows, systems, and controls to enhance supplier performance, improve contract management, support sustainability, and enhance growth.
  • Management of procurement systems
  • Overall management of a remote and distributed procurement staff and vendor management and vendor risk staff and their skills and competency development and knowledge management capabilities
  • Budget management for commodities under management - and for procurement itself
  • Development of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous vendor improvement
  • Conduct initial and recurring Vendor Risk Assessments and manage any associated risk remediation efforts
  • Monitor vendor performance to established SLAs and report any / all deficiencies to business stakeholders and procurement resources
  • Ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with contract / pricing / payment terms and take corrective actions as required

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Seven or more years of experience in leadership roles, including at least five years of procurement and vendor management experience
  • Excellent leadership skills including the ability to think critically and independently, communicate effectively, and personal integrity
  • Understanding of business administration, to include planning and regulatory issues facing federal contractors (e.g. ITAR controls, TAA controls, CMMC, etc.)
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
  • Ability to deliver results with limited oversight and supervision
  • Understanding of industry-standard Procurement best practices and general procurement regulations
  • Desired Skills and Qualifications :

  • Master of Business Administration degree preferred
  • Experience in managing procurement within businesses owned by private equity
  • Experience in post-acquisition procurement integrations
  • Understanding of U.S. and U.K. regulatory frameworks that apply to Federal Contractors
  • A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is :

    154,400.00-201,899.00 USD

    The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
