Role and Responsibilities
- This role reports directly to VP of Operations
- This role is responsible for Supply Chain activities related to the procurement, maintenance and sustainability of the flow of material to manufacturing
- Define specifications in terms of optimal quantity on hand, in transit and on order to ensure flow, cost and delivery metrics are met
- Select suppliers according to the type of product, quality provided by the supplier and the possibility of a LONG-TERM partnership
- Negotiate contracts that include costs, warranties delivery, handling and penalties for late delivery or cost overruns
- Manage the purchasing cycle, from Purchase Order to Consumption
- Monitor Supplier performance through monitoring, that provides feedback on KPIs, and ensures a proper communication channel
- Implementation of the Enterprise Requirements Planning System
- Challenge the status quo and demonstrate a propensity of action leading to the most effective execution of your role
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline from an Accredited US Institution3-7 Years of escalating experience in Supply Chain / Purchasing / Demand PlanningExperience managing remote suppliers and manufacturersPreferred Skills
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBACertification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain ManagementKnowledge of operation and functionality of Business CentralAdditional Notes

Effective written and oral communication skillsExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools with the ability to develop actionable insights from the dataProven knowledge of Inventory ManagementExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and improve trusting relationships with suppliers
