Opportunity :

Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details :

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech required

CST certification required (NCCT or NBSTSA also accepted)

BLS certification through American Heart Association required

Da Vinci Robot and Mako experience required

Work in 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures

Primarily perform orthopedic cases in rural hospital setting

Work with visiting physicians for ENT, orthopedic, and other specialties

Assist with turning rooms, cleaning, and picking cases

Take call 1x per week and every 6th weekend (Friday PM - Monday AM)

Hospital-provided scrubs

Flexible start date - can begin any day of the week

Brief hospital orientation for badge and policy review followed by department competency check-off

Orientation length dependent on traveler skill set

Must maintain positive attitude and be a team player

Expected to hit the ground running with minimal orientation

Complete specialty competency exam annually with 80% passing rate required

Complete Joint Commission Core I, II, and III competencies annually

This rural healthcare facility operates multiple OR suites and provides comprehensive surgical services to the community. The hospital features modern surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic systems and Mako equipment, with a focus on orthopedic procedures. The facility regularly hosts visiting physicians who provide specialized services in ENT, orthopedics, and other specialties, enhancing the surgical program's capabilities and patient care options.
