Director of Software Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering. Key Responsibilities Manage personnel actions for direct reports, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Oversee daily operations of the Software Development department, managing budgets and product performance Coach and mentor technology leaders while participating in strategic decisions related to product development Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience managing software development teams Minimum 7 years of experience with product solution design, development, testing, and release cycles Minimum 3 years of experience leading software engineers in an agile environment Experience with service-oriented and event-driven system architecture, preferably in a public cloud ecosystem
