An Athletics Driver performs the task of safely transporting students, faculty, staff, and school representatives to and from school functions / events. Responsibilities include :

• Operate the assigned District Vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including BCC Driver Policy
• Perform pre-trip safety checks
• Maintain order within van while driving
• Work in conjunction with coach / teacher / supervising staff member to verify passenger attendance to and from each destination
• Ensure passengers are aware of rules and responsibilities
• Be on time to and from events, transporting on schedule
• Clean out vehicle and ensure it is safely and securely stored
• Advise coach / teacher / supervising staff member of any necessary maintenance or repairs
• Maintain vehicle logs as required
• Act quickly and exercise independent, mature judgment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications :

This position is a Short-Term Project working up to a max of 30 hours per week.
