Normal Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 3 : 00pm to 11 : 30pm Saturday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 30pm Sunday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 30pm; some holidays.

Job Summary : The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps mops vacuums polishes and dusts furniture and cleans restrooms windows blinds mirrors buildings across campus.

Additional Department Summary : The University of Alabama Student Center is the community center for The University of Alabama the Student Center hosts programs provides services and maintains facilities to enhance the campus life experience for students and others in the University community. The Student Center is a 300000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility including a 1000 seat capacity ballroom a 400 seat theater 21 meeting rooms a food court Crimson Catering (University catering department) numerous office spaces SUPestore (University bookstore) Mail Center full-service bank copy and print center and multiple lounge spaces.

Nights weekends and some holidays are required. Weekend shifts may be on a rotating schedule.

Responsible for completing required training and promoting a safe hospitable and respectful workplace.
