Controls Technician
Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking skilled Controls Technicians to join their team at their Holland, Michigan facility. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals experienced in troubleshooting and supporting automated production systems. You'll be key in maintaining and improving advanced manufacturing equipment-from robotics to PLCs-while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across operations. 2nd and 3rd shift openings
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo drives
- Provide ongoing technical support to operations, setup teams, and engineers
- Lead or assist with continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and uptime
- Implement and maintain a wide range of control systems across manufacturing lines
- Conduct system verification and ensure accurate documentation of controls-related work
- Support and perform preventative maintenance activities
- Mentor or assist other maintenance and technical team members as needed
