Salary and Benefits :
NEW Increased Salary schedule for the 2025-2026 school year with salaries ranging from $47,496 (BA) to $92,683 (MA+30) depending on qualifications and experience.

Role and Essential Duties :
The Speech and Language Pathologist K-12 supports the vision and mission of the Genesee Intermediate School District by serving in the capacity to meet the developmental needs of children, through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework; by using a coaching model with strategies to help students develop new skills to share with parents, caregivers, and educational team members; and by demonstrating an understanding of the development of language and communication skills in students and coaching classroom staff in strategies an activities to improve language and communication skills.

Team Structure :
The Teacher will work under the supervision of the Building Principal. The team includes other specialists, classroom teachers, and support staff who collaborate to provide comprehensive services to students with autism. Regular consultations and coordination with community agencies, local districts, and other educational professionals are integral to the role.
