Job Summary : This role involves providing direct nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment where patients require complex assessments and interventions, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the health care consumer's health and / or situation.
- Triage health care consumers using age and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize care.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for individual care plans.
- Implement and coordinate care while educating patients to promote health and safety.
- Evaluate progress towards achieving patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of formats across all areas of practice.
- Demonstrate leadership within a professional setting.
- Attain knowledge and competencies that reflect contemporary nursing practices.
- Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge specific to Emergency Nursing.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely within the workplace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or meet educational requirements for licensing.Experience :
