Job Summary : This role involves providing direct nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment where patients require complex assessments and interventions, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Job Responsibilities :

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the health care consumer's health and / or situation.
• Triage health care consumers using age and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize care.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for individual care plans.
• Implement and coordinate care while educating patients to promote health and safety.
• Evaluate progress towards achieving patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively in a variety of formats across all areas of practice.
• Demonstrate leadership within a professional setting.
• Attain knowledge and competencies that reflect contemporary nursing practices.
• Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge specific to Emergency Nursing.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely within the workplace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
