Senior Software Engineer

Overview

The Sr. Engineer will be part of a product team enhancing and sustaining enterprise systems through multiple programming platforms, primarily Java. This individual develops, maintains and improves internally developed applications and integrates with third party applications. As a Sr. Engineer, you will be helping to transform the way applications are built and how data is processed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of a modern application platform using microservices architecture, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Enhance and maintain customer-facing systems, including CRM and loyalty program platforms, leveraging the new architecture.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines , monitoring, and other DevOps best practices to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers in adopting new technologies and engineering practices.
• Drive innovation by identifying and delivering high-impact technical solutions that improve project outcomes.
• Champion engineering excellence by promoting best practices such as code reviews, source control standards, and automated testing .
