Barc Housing is looking for a compassionate and motivated Second Shift Manager to join our team at our 36- bed intermediate care facility supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

About the Role : Second Shift Manager
Responsible for hiring recommendations and supervision of direct support professionals monitoring schedules; ensuring required staffing ratios; scheduling staff work schedules; ensuring contract and funding compliance; planning and implementing team meetings and individual supervisionEffectively enhances team relations by facilitating team meetings, developing agendas, using effective communication skills; encouraging growth and self-development; employing conflict resolution skills; and providing adequate supports to team member.Ensures adequate record keeping by monitoring the maintenance of consumer files; completes prescribed documentation systems and procedures for accuracy and follow-through.Responsibly ensures that adults supported are safe and living healthy lives by monitoring safety issues; practicing appropriate emergency medical and behavioral procedures; responding to emergencies; promoting rights regarding health and safety; and participating in emergency disaster preparedness.Rotates 24 - hour "Manager on Call" cell phone and dutiesAssures clients are engaged in community or in-house activities throughout shift.Perks & Benefits :

High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree or some college preferred.1+ years of related experience in a leadership position required.5+ years working with people who have developmental disabilities required, preferably in residential settingsWorking knowledge of MS Office required Excel / Word / Outlook.Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).Valid FL driver's license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.Must be 21 years old or older.Keywords : Developmental Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Manager, ICF, DSP
