Responsibilities

• Broad case mix including orthopedics, spine, general, and urology.
• Work alongside anesthesiologists to administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during and after surgery.
• Prepare equipment and medication for anesthesia administration.
• Assist in placing and managing invasive monitoring devices such as arterial lines, central lines, and pulmonary artery catheters.
• Provide support in airway management, such as intubation and extubation.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient transport and hand off to the post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU).
