Performs various non-nursing functions. Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision and values. Position Description :

• Performs data collection accurately and promptly.
• Recognizes variances in patient condition and reports promptly.
• Follows the plan of care and recommends changes to meet the ongoing needs of the patient.
• Provide care that is related to the patient's needs and well-being.
• Participates in shift report, as a member of the team, to meet the individual needs of the patient.
• Completes all work assignments under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Reports abnormal data findings promptly.
• Implements the interventions from the plan of care, as assigned.
• Documents data collection, tasks performed and patient response accurately and appropriately each shift.

Qualifications Position Requirements : Education requirements : High School diploma or equivalent; Work experience requirements : Prefer one (1) year full time or three (3) years part time in an acute care setting. Required licenses / certifications / courses : BLS certification. Successful completion of Handle with Care training within 30 days of hire. Maintains a valid SC driver's license for patient transport, where applicable. Must have one of the following requirements :
• Current SC CNA certification
• Current Medical Assistant certification
• Current EMT certification
• Passing grade in Fundamentals of Nursing course and maintain current enrollment in nursing program
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
