Part-time Controller

Part-Time Temp To Hire Controller

Our client in Red Bank, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Temp to hire Controller. Pay Rate : $70.00 - $80.00 / HR Hours : Mon-Fri 4 hours per day with in business hours (there is flexibility with start and end time)

Requirements :

• Masters degree in accounting.
• Working familiarity of Sage 100 required.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
• Five years of experience as a Controller or CFO.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite with expert skills in Excel.
• Knowledge of how to work with foreign exchange rates and VAT.
• Understanding of fixed assets and useful life.
• Robust comprehension of accrued and prepaid expenses.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
• Adept with cost of goods sold.
• Adaptable to a smaller office environment.
